Horst Ludwig Störmer (born Frankfurt am Main, Germany, April 6, 1949) was a German physicist and semiconductor physicist who was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics, jointly with Robert Laughlin and Daniel Tsui, "for their discovery of a new form of quantum fluid with fractional electric charge" (1998). He was awarded the Oliver Buckley Prize (1984) and the Benjamin Franklin Medal (1998).
